The Yukon, Tatonka’s flagship hiking and backpacking pack, has been upgraded for 2025 with significant improvements in versatility, comfort, and sustainability. Tried and tested over many years, it is optimised for loads up to 35 kg, delivering the perfect balance of durability, functionality, and all-day carrying comfort. The three-dimensional hip strap is ergonomically shaped for a secure fit, which together with the optimised shoulder straps improve weight distribution for all-day comfort.

The latest upgrades make the Yukon even more versatile. The removable lid now doubles as a front pouch when attached to the shoulder straps or can be used separately as a bum bag or shoulder bag, offering a practical solution when leaving your pack at base camp or your accommodations. The throat extension has been redesigned for easier packing and better use of space in the top section of the pack.

Now featuring upgraded eco-friendly materials, the Yukon is constructed with reTex 6.6 ECO, a rugged polyester fabric with 40% recycled content and a waterproof, PFC/PFAS-free coating, along with lightweight, tear-resistant T-Microrip 2.1 ECO. The durable Cordura 500 Den ECO base provides high abrasion resistance and protection, with the bottom seam extending up the sides to prevent water from seeping in when the pack is placed on wet ground.

Built for comfort and practicality, the 3D front opening allows for quick, effortless packing and access, while the three-dimensional hip flaps optimise weight transfer, reducing strain on long hikes. The Yukon continues to be Tatonka’s premier tramping pack, delivering the reliability, comfort, and versatility needed for the toughest adventures.
